AAA-Fund Blog and Hyphen Magazine Collaborate

Asian American Action Fund

Hyphen Magazine: Asian America Unabridged
The Asian American Action Fund Blog and Hyphen Magazine announce a cross-posting partnership effective immediately. The collaboration aims to further each publication’s mission: to politically empower Asian American leaders and to fight misrepresentation and underrepresentation of Asian Americans with smarter and more nuanced coverage. Both our publications will weekly crosspost each other’s articles. Hyphen will focus on AAA-Fund’s posts for general audiences and the AAA-Fund will focus on Hyphen’s politics and culture posts.

We are very excited to collaborate to better serve our readers and Asian America.

— AAA-Fund Blog and Hyphen Magazine

The AAA-Fund is a Democratic political action committee whose goal is to increase the voice of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) on every level of local, state and federal government in America. To achieve this goal, we address the chronic under-representation of AAPIs as campaign volunteers, campaign contributors, and candidates for political office. The AAA-Fund has endorsed candidates across the country.

Founded in 2003, Hyphen is a nonprofit news and culture print magazine that illuminates Asian America through hard-hitting investigative features on the cultural and political trends shaping the fastest-growing ethnic population in the country. Hyphen is a fiscally sponsored project of Independent Arts & Media, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

It’s been neat to hear how many of my friends read Hyphen or at least know about it.
