Walsh’s Words Lead To Duckworth’s Dominance

Caroline alerted you to Joe Walsh’s vicious attacks on AAA-Fund endorsee Tammy Duckworth.

Walsh hasn’t done himself any favors in his damage control efforts, as you can see

The New York Times recognizes Walsh as bad on his comments and bad on the issues

As for issues, there are several in Mr. Walsh’s record that are worth discussing — like his being the only member of the Illinois Congressional delegation to vote against this year’s transportation bill, even though he represents a district, west and north of Chicago, that includes parts of O’Hare Airport and many of the city’s and region’s most important highway and railroad networks. Or that he has spent his time championing oddball bills that have gone nowhere — measures to abolish the Office of Polar Programs of the National Science Foundation, to forbid the use of the word “Palestine” in government documents and to support “Israel’s right to annex Judea and Samaria.” He is also sponsor of the Save Christmas Act.

Ms. Duckworth has done far more than her share in serving her country. Against that record, Mr. Walsh’s comments were deplorable.

Duckworth’s fundraising efforts are going like gangbusters against this reprehensible child support-dodging Congresscritter. With over 90% of individual contributions in the amount of $100 or less, Duckworth raised at least $885,540 in the second quarter. This appears to be the largest haul in a single quarter by any House challenger!

If you’d like to help Duckworth break her own record, you can donate here.

We could start a blog category merely all about mean politics namely from incompetent politicians who have no education in how to effectively do policy as they’re ideologues who merely robotically vote down great policy.
